1.Precautions for use:
Oven drying: When a tubular furnace is used for the first time or is reused after long-term shutdown, it must be dried. The oven drying time should be four hours from room temperature to 200 ℃, followed by four hours from 200 ℃ to 600 ℃. This can ensure that the furnace is fully dry and avoid cracking.
Temperature control: The furnace temperature should not exceed the rated temperature as much as possible to avoid damaging the heating elements and furnace lining. At the same time, it is prohibited to directly inject various liquids and easily soluble metals into the furnace to maintain cleanliness.
Heating rate: When using a cold furnace, due to the fact that the tubular furnace is cold and requires heat absorption, the heating rate in the low-temperature section is not easily too fast, and the difference in heating rates between different temperature sections is not too large. When setting the heating rate, the physical and chemical properties of the sintered material should be fully considered to avoid material spraying and pollution of the furnace tube.
Environmental requirements: The tube furnace and controller must operate in a place with a relative humidity not exceeding 85%, free from conductive dust, explosive gases, or corrosive gases.
Meanwhile, the controller of the tube furnace should be limited to use within the ambient temperature range of 0-40 ℃.
Inspection and maintenance: Regularly check whether the electrical connections of the temperature control system are in good contact, and pay special attention to whether the connections of each connection point of the heating element are tight. Do not pull out the thermocouple suddenly at high temperatures to prevent the jacket from exploding.
2.Usage requirements:
Safe operation: Before using a tubular furnace, suitable personal protective equipment must be worn, such as heat-resistant gloves, fire-resistant clothing, and goggles. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure good ventilation in the work area to prevent the accumulation of harmful gases.
Cleaning the furnace body: Before use, the furnace body should be regularly cleaned and maintained to ensure that there are no impurities or stains inside the furnace chamber. When cleaning, power should be cut off and wait for the furnace to completely cool before proceeding.
Strict operation: When using a tube furnace, it is necessary to strictly follow the set parameters such as temperature and time to avoid improper operations such as overheating and overtime, in order to ensure the accuracy and safety of experiments or production.
3.Regular maintenance:
Regularly clean and maintain the tube furnace, including cleaning residues inside the furnace, checking whether the heating elements and temperature sensors are working properly, to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
