A rotary tube furnace is available as single or multi-zone, split design. They also come in either continuous or batch rotary tube furnaces. Many tube furnaces are equipped with two or more heating zones and can produce temperatures up to 1300°C. The general design will vary based on process temperature, throughput, atmosphere requirements, characteristics of material, cooling requirements, etc.
