What are the requirements for tube furnace selection

When we choose the tubular furnace, we must have a goal and positioning in mind. Here we will introduce how to select the tubular furnace and what requirements the tubular furnace should meet.
Rotary tubular furnace
1. When there is chemical reaction in the heating medium of tubular furnace, the temperature field in the furnace should be adapted to the chemical reaction process in the tube, and the box furnace with single row tubes and double-sided radiation should be selected. To meet the following requirements
2. When the design load is 1 ~ 30MW, the radiation convection type cylindrical furnace should be preferred. When the design load is greater than 30MW, the cylinder furnace, box furnace, vertical furnace or other furnace types with intermediate row pipes shall be selected through technical and economic comparison.
3. If the heating medium is heavy, gasification rate is large, easy to coking or has special process requirements, the horizontal tube vertical furnace should be selected. If the heating medium is easy to pull out crystals or contains solid substances, spiral tube cylindrical furnace should be selected.
4. When the furnace tube is expensive, the furnace type with single row tube and double-sided radiation should be selected when the surface utilization rate of furnace tube is required to be provided, or the heating area and process length are required to be reduced to reduce the pressure drop.
5. When the heating medium takes the gas phase as the continuous phase, the volume flow rate is large, and the pressure drop is small, the tube furnace type is suitable to choose the box type furnace with collecting tube vertical tube, U-shaped, inverted U-shaped or Π type coil pipe structure. When the load is small, the vertical tube furnace connected by the coil can also be used. When the design load is less than 1MW, the pure radiation tubular furnace should be selected, and the pure radiation cylindrical furnace should be preferred. When the tube furnace group shares a combined waste heat recovery system, and the reformer heating furnace is required, this is not necessary.
